Want to hear about Sam Stuchbury’s transition from tertiary study and a poorly insulated student flat to navigating the creative business world and negotiating client relationships? Of course you do! Sam founded the creative agency and production house Motion Sickness in 2014 whilst completing a marketing and design degree at the University of Otago. The now Auckland-based company works to deliver unique campaigns and content for a range of New Zealand and international brands, including Les Mills International, Oxfam, Earthwise and Icebreaker.
With all that experience behind him, Sam is the perfect person to talk about the inner workings of his business and the division of labour between the creative, strategy and communications teams. He will also be speaking on how Motion Sickness has adapted to changes in the industry, what challenges he has faced and his predictions for the future.
Sam was the only Kiwi to make Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list of Creative Disruptors in 2018, so don’t miss the opportunity to ask him a few questions while he’s here!
Sam’s talk is generously supported by Stark Property.
